In New York becomes more hotels

In New York there is a building of 59 hotels by the general capacity of 8 500 numbers. Thus the hotel infrastructure should extend more than on 10 %.

Scale works are provoked mainly by demand growth: New York remains the most visited city of the USA, not including Orlando. Meanwhile in New York not so it is a lot of hotels, as in less popular Las Vegas, Chicago, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

In spite of the fact that to a city there come many business tourists, ready to pay the big sums for placing, usual travellers are dissatisfied with excessively high prices, especially in the centre where average cost of number makes about 200-300 dollars for a night.

For this reason new hotels will settle down mainly in Brooklyn, Квинсе, Bronx and on Lond Island. Hotels on Manhattan, despite other-wordly cost, are popular: their fillability averages 85 %, that on 20 % above the general indicator on the country.

Some experts believe, what even building of new hotels will not promote reduction of prices. Others consider, that falling of a dollar exchange rate and the general economic stagnation will cause reduction of business tourism and placing depreciation.

Analysts converge in one: whatever quantity of new numbers has opened in New York, they always will be filled at least on 90 %.

In the message it is noticed, that the big percent of all building is necessary on company McSam Hotel Group LLC share: it plans to open 30 hotels on the basis of existing buildings by 2009.
